Roederer Blanc de Blancs Champagne

The Blanc de Blancs vintage is only
produced in small quantities because it is created exclusively
from a selection of the very finest crus from the Louis
Roederer vineyard in the Côte des Blancs. To preserve
its delicacy and freshness, this exquisite champagne
undergoes no malolactic fermentation and the pressure
inside the bottle is reduced to four atmospheres, instead
of the usual six.
Blend: 100% Chardonnay
Ageing: four year on lees, plus at least six months
in the cellar after disgorging.
Dosage: 11-12g/L of sugar from the dosage liqueur.
Tasting notes: Golden yellow colour with green highlights.
Hints of fruit (crystallised citrus, orange and melon
too) and flowers (honeysuckle) on a delicate background
of warm Viennese pastry and toast.Flavours of citrus
and fresh fruit (grapes, lemon) mingled with warmer
aromas of honey, woodiness and toastiness.
Choice of food: ideal as an aperitif to do justice to
its freshness, smoothness and elegance. Equally delicious
with shellfish, fish or goat’s cheese.
